君が望む真愛 (PART 2)

By popular demand, I’m happy to present part two of Kimi ga Nozomu Muv-Luv! Apologies for the wait, but these longer subtitled videos do take a lot more time, so be sure to let me know if you’re enjoying this series, and I’ll try to crank them out more regularly!

  1. Thanks a lot for the translation.
Poor Takeru, he has to deal with Takayuki’s murky life. And Takayuki enjoys his new life a bit too much, I wonder how long those two can keep the facade up before the truth comes out.

  2. I watched the anime for Kimi ga Nozomu Eien 14 years ago, and I was a big fan. After a long time waiting, it’s great to see more material. I don’t know much about visual novels or Muv-Luv, but I’m thoroughly enjoying this and craving for more! You’re doing an amazing job with these translations and I can’t wait for part 3!

Also just so you know, this got posted on /a/. Many anons are eagerly following these with interest.

  3. I’m (very) interested. Obviously. 😀
Forgot to ask this, but is this game available physically? Haven’t found it yet, so I guess it’s download-only?
Also I find it quite amusing, that you tweeted you were thinking about translating this in the ‘future’, and did so only a few days later.
My gratitude and respect to you!
By the way, not to be overly demanding, but among all these titles you currently translate/release, is there any time left for KimiNozo ~latest edition~ – let alone your private life – and what kind of release will it be when it comes out? YouTube, patch, full game download, or is there even a possibility for a Steam release? No matter what, since I just bought the Japanese physical for my collection, I’ll be ready for anything!

    – Thank you once again for this wonderful new series! –

    Cheers,

    • Hi, thanks for the kind words! Work on KimiNozo proper has not stopped, I assure you – it’s my biggest priority in the grand scheme of things – but since it’s been picked up for release in an official capacity at some point, I’m unfortunately unable to comment on progress and whatnot anymore. As such, the project is somewhat on hold until more details are shared publicly, and so all I can really do for now is release these little bite-sized mini-projects while working on the retranslation for Muv-Luv Alternative. I know the wait must be agonizing, but I hope you’ll bear with us!

(edit: And yes, as of right now, KimiMuv is a download-only Fan Club-exclusive software, with both external DRM and the need to sign up for a (paid) Fan Club membership (with a Japanese address and all that needs to be approved) to even have the ability to purchase the game. As such, I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m one of the only English-speaking fans to own it at the present time, ahah.)
